Hearts and Hope for Haiti is currently working with three organizations in Haiti:
ALOM Clinic: We have worked with 3 Doctors since the 2010 Earthquake when they were leading Remote Clinics for the North Carolina Baptist Men. After 2013 when disaster support moved on, they opened the ALOM Clinic in Cabaret in a rented house. We have been impressed by their capability to provide quality affordable medical care to Haitians in need regardless of their ability to pay. They have recruited quality staff members who respect their patients and each other. They are guided by Christian values in their work and are esteemed by their patients.
Kelley Erb School: This school provides an education to the young children at the Little Angels Orphanage in Port au Prince. Many of these children became orphans as a result of the 2010 Earthquake. We help support this School and the children that attend with clothing, nutrition supplements (Vita Mamba) and facility improvements.
School of Hope: This K-12 school in Cotes-de-Fer is in a very poor area on the southern coast of Haiti. It provides an education to about 100 children in a very primitive environment. We help the school with lunches and daily vitamins (Vita Mamba) for the kids , and occasionally uniforms, books, teaching supplies and salaries.
We are also partnering with St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Indianapolis in efforts to support projects in Haiti. http://www.stlukesumc.com/serve/partners/
